just grabbed brand new MP2.5k, looking for some advices..

Well I jus got one:) Have been an happy owner of 1000 plus JJOS for almost 2 years, and decided that I need big pads and tilt screen, so
Any info about differences between mpc1000 JJOS and 2500 ??
Are there any at all ?
I just checked ( roughly) 2500 JJOS manula, and it seems almost the same
I would appretiate pointing where are main differences ?

everything is the same.
you may find some different features reguarding the CD recorder (which differ from the Akai OS), but that's about it.

I read JJOS manual for 2500 and it seems except CD, 2 extra qlinks, there are absolutelly same OS's.
I've found some threads about AUDIO TRACKS and DIRECT REC. but I think it works same way in 1000 ( except dir. rec; however I don't really need that feature)
Well, I don't miss my old 1000, 2500 is just a bigger and more handsome sista;)
