So I record audio in let's say sequence number one and sequence number two. Then I go into song mode with combinations of those two sequences but none of them play the audio (a bassline in this case) that I have recorded.
While playing the sequences on their own, everything is fine though...
Does anyone know why that is? and is there any way around it?

ok, thanks...now I did what u said (created a bass line program) but when i create a song, i always leave 1 blank bar so the syncing can lock up when i track my stuff inside protools.

The bassline plays back while the blank 1st bar of the song is playing and then doesn't playback after that... I feel like it's something obvious that I am missing but cant figure out what...

any ideas, ways to get those bass lines playing in song mode continuously? ?
thanks again le rat

I'm not quite sure what you mean, I have deleted all the takes that I am not using yes. But as far as inserting the program events I'm not sure what you mean exactly

This particular track that I'm working on is just a simple two bar loop and obviously, I only got a 2 bar bass line, one take, that I named bass line 1 and put in the bass line program that I created...it still doesnt play in song mode!...frustrating, I don't get it...been looking in all kinds of forums and still stuck

In your two bar sequence, you go to the track where there is the program with the bass. You make play your bass by pressing a pad while recording it. And you're done lol It's just the same principle as usual.
