dude,. i hear ya on the jjos, but you know my mpc has worked fine, ive only had it freeze up on me twice,. but it would be sick to have different options... anyway, what the **** is wrong with it?? do you get error messages all the time or something? how long have you been using it for? i think ur maxing the little thing out, you know you gotta hold ur mouth just right when your using it, come on, you can do it... and you were complaining about the pads?? i love my pads, i put mpc1000 black pads in mine, and they are a little softer, and i adjusted my pad sensitivity to 16, its sooooo much better, i do wish their was a better eq on the thing,. but all in all in happy with it

Comparing the MPC500 to the MPC1000 is just so stupid.

If they were comparable and developed for the same market share why would Akai even care to develop two different hardware pieces?

So much 500-hating is making me want to buy one instead of the 1000............

P.S. - and I could also buy later a brand new Fiat 500

I do not know how to word it different but I consider myself a ´power´ user of this little box, not once has it failed with me, even when I am controlling other equipment with it it wont stop working, I do not get hick ups or whatever. Could you please be more sepcific when you say shit does not work, tell me your way of doing things with midi for instance and I will see if I can replicate the bug..... so much hate must come from somewhere I figure.

I think "Jamon" is secretly one of the "Beat Kangs" trying to drum up negative publicity about the lower cost MPC's so when their "Easy Beat Oven" comes out, maybe a few heads will be confused enough to buy it...

Jfalconcrest, i thought the same thing^^^^^^^ i thought he was working 4 tha beat kangs too, but i dont think the kangs would work with someone that crys sooo much,. the guy clearly cant find any happiness in life, word on the street is this guys complains and bitches about everything, he likes to look pretty with poses and his long groomed hair,. he even likes to pose in vids with no shirt on, and his hair blowing in the wind, seems kinda fruity to me,. i mean dude! this world doesent revolve around you,. i hope one day you stop, take a look around and realize how good you have it, things could be way worse,. i really feel bad for you man.. life is too short to cry threw it all...
