R3 - MPC - Connection

Hi Good people!

I have a challenge with MIDI. I got an R3 KORG connected via midi to my MPC500. I want to use R3 sounds in my MPC sequencer. When i press a key on my R3 im playing a sound from my MPC 500. Anything im missing here?

I have an R3 and mpc1000. You're gonna want to turn the MPC's 'Program' to "Off". Then you'll wanna turn the 'Track' from "Drum" to "Midi" and specify the Midi channel you're using.
