Foot Switch?

I plan on using some songs I have created as the backing drums for a live band project. What is the best way to use the MPC 500 live? I can't imagine walking over with my guitar on and crouching over to spin the wheel and start a new song each time. Do you know of any foot switch arrangements that don't involve building something like MacGyver? I'm also open to any suggestions that exclude the MPC, for instance an mp3 player with a footswitch you may know of.

Yes, plug it in the MIDI port and you are game!
