Mode button not working the way it should???

First day and it seems my Mode button is not working. It brings up the Timing Correction and Metronome features. These buttons are on the same line as Mode, so do I have a bad unit or something? The Timing Correction and Metronome features are brought up just fine with their respective buttons but when I hit Mode it brings them up as well and does not go into anything related to the mode features.

I did dome searching on here and in the manual and could not find anything like this.

A few other buttons do the same thing. I'll hit Tap Tempo and it will pull up Track Mute or Status or I hit Status it will pull up Tap Tempo.

Was it second hand or new? If it is new, bring it back, I get this maybe once a week, not every minute.

Yeah man, if its new, exchange it quick.

Try reinstalling the OS, if that don't work take it back asap!

Thank guys. I bought it last night at a Guitar Center for fairly cheap becuase it was a floor model. It was not doing this when I was looking at it.

I'll see if I can reinstall the OS. I'll keep you guys posted.

No go guys on the OS reinstall. The mode button is used for that so I'm SOL.

I'll be exchanging this thing today.

I took it back Saturday and they gave me a brand new one for the same price as the floor model!

Mode works just fine now but I uploaded the latest OS and my note repeat doesn’t work now. Definitely not the same stuff as the other one. I'm going to try uploading the OS again to see if that helps. The problem started after I uploaded the new OS so I'm thinking that has something to do with it.
