midi sync -----yeah I know

k-- I got the 500 to sync mmc --play start stop----slave n master both in fl studio and sonar ok
cant get the damn pads to control anything.... I have 5 control surfaces never a problem( mpd24, 2 bcfs, emu
x board, m audio key rig)
this aint that important but I wanna axe my mpd24 as a controler and use the 500 when needed

YES i read the manual.......... still do for fun

Ive been doin this a long time ......cant get it though, and I am going to get obsessed if I cant figure it out
any suggestions ?

same here same here. I came as far as finding this program called BlueBox, about what people saying it would be helping with this..still trying to figure that one out.

Midi can be a b'tch sometimes

In the midi menu u have the option 'pad to sampler'. Switch it off.

ok I switched off pad to sampler
turned mpc as master sends mmc style controll over sonar and FL studio-start-stop-etc
turned mpc as slave software starts mpc
fooled arround with all the options and still no pad controll!!
what am I doing wrong?
not a huge deal though as I make my beats on the MP anyway-I get carried away if I cant figure something out oh well

my mpd and both key controllers can play the mpc through midi when mpc is set to slave

track>params>midi channel>

change OFF to 1 or similar

On the 1k you have to change the mode from program to midi. I haven't checked on the 500, but I wonder if there is something similar that needs to be done.

it works ! but Id rather make the songs on the mpc than controll a drum program
just glad I know how if it ever comes to pass That i need it
