how do you organise your samples in your mpc

You create program drums, bass, instruments, and loops or differents ways of organising them.

Tell me because i'm a bit lost when i wanna load a program and variate him in the style of samples.

I do mine by genre

I just name the sample as it sounds. If a violin gives me chills then I'll label it as Spooky Strings or something. I got a real happy-ass sample of light organs and flutes, I labeled that Dzz Jolly Nutz.

I keep File names short on the mpc 500.

folder name: Fantom_Kit

BD_fant01.wav
HH_fant01.wav

and so on...
