How MPC500 is different from the other MPC's.

They should have ship the mpc 1000 with a rechargeble battery.

My biggest problem with it is that you can't make adjustments to a program as a whole. Like if you have a multisampled instrument program like a Rhodes piano and you want to add some reverb. You have to add that reverb to every one of the 48 pads which really sucks! You can do it in software like the MPC Maid program. But then you have to open the program on the computer, make the adjustments and save it again. If it doesn't sound right when you load it back into the 500, then you have to load it back into the computer and do it again without being able to hear it.
