CHOPPING SAMPLES

Hey guys,

Been on the 500 for a couple of months. Can anyone tell me, do i have to chop samples myself and then assign them to pads or can the 500 chop it for me. And, if so, how the hell do i do it.

as far as i know, doesn't the mpc 500 have an auto chop function. there is, however, an auto chop function in the mpc maid. and i suppose, that there are a lot more solutions to find in the internet as well.

In situations like this, I sometimes wonder why the manual doesn't get a mention.

Perhaps it's already obvious but the MANUAL is provided for a reason.

I suggest you spend some time discovering what that reason is...
