The "Bar Count"

Was wondering if the 500 has it's own Bar Count, maybe "16" bars w/in the beat for a song.... like making a beat on a AudioInterface, where you can set how much bars you want in a beat.

The MPC 500 can handle up to 96 part per quarter note... is this what you mean?

MPC's allow you to set the total number of bars you want FOR EACH INDIVIDUAL SEQUENCE you create from the main screen (where you also set the tempo, quantize values etc).

You can then string SEQUENCES together using SONG MODE if you work that way.

For each track, No.

For each SEQUENCE, yes
