Drums,samples,etc cut out out

I have had this problem for a long time and I am so angry that i can't get to the bottom of it.My drums,samples for no reason will just cut out.Like a snare will only come out of one side of the speaker and screws all the sequences up.I don't know any more.Any ideas....

Have you tried only using MONO samples that are sampled directly into the mpc via Record Mode? Same results?

Do you have the current OS 1.31?

I do have os 1.31.I think I found the problem.I went into effects mode and messed with the effect set and all the sounds went back to normal but now i can't use effects without sounds cutting out.What am i doing wrong in effects mode or does this sound like a bug to you?

MONO sampling has been suggested, so here's my thoughts:

Polyphony is being exceeded.
Sample levels are too loud to begin with and cut out.
And...I have another sampler that after a while, the sound begins to cut out if the volume knob is too far up, so I just have to turn the knob a little bit and sound comes back in just fine (so most likely a physical problem with the unit).
