people always bash users on here for not knowing something , then it turns into a brawl for half a page, then everybody always apologizes and make up

maybe its for boosting post count?

or maybe some people on here like to squabble, when it could have easily been avoided. this is why i stop coming thru the 500 thread...its fkn ridiculous

would you prefer unsolved issues? :)

i don`t think so... do you get a prize (mpc 5000?) for a lot of posts? cuz if not, there`s no point in having a lot of pointless posts

sometimes when i load a sample it appears as loaded but makes no sound. its set to full, tried note on, one shot... tried anything...

it works if i make a new program..
also, i have 3rd party ram... is it a setting im missing? a bug? could it be the ram?

Yeah, bad RAM can cause those type of issues. Also bad CF cards too. Try another CF card, SanDisk are good choices but I'm using a Toshiba with no problems (so far). If problem persists then try another RAM, Amazon had the Akai RAM for $30 back in October but back up to 150, keep an eye out, ebay too.
