Quick question please

So the manual says how to delete a sample that is on your memory card. However I need to know how to delete a sample that I have recorded into my mpc. I am currently 90% done with a song, and just recorded a sample from my microkorg into my mpc that I do not want to keep, and it took up all my RAM. I now have no more RAM left for any more samples and I need to add things. How can I delete a recorded sample?

Ive pressed mode--->load----->delete-----> but then i cant find the recorded samples


please help

Make sure the sample isn't assigned to a program, then go to program mode and select remove unused samples.
