Issues with Saving, please help

After having my mpc for two months I absolutely love it, but when it comes to saving I hate the thing. I do exactly what the manual says and I am saving correctly, but after I'll create drum programs (with 12 drum sounds in them) and turn off my mpc it will not say UNKNOWN FILE. Also, when i'll work hours on a beat and save it as entire memory project, ill turn off my mpc and later come back and make a new beat, then when I try to access the first beat with all the sounds and samples it can not find most of the files so I am left with a beat that only has like 3 sounds in it.

I really hope this makes sense and somebody can help. I am finding myself only being able to make beats when I can do them in one sitting because saving is not an option, and when I record them to my computer theres no way of going back and editing it.

This is extremely frustrating can somebody please help

are u sure ur saving it to autoload , or saving the project and the reloading the project when u turn it on?just a thought

well autoload is off obviously because I dont want the b.s stock sounds to load everytime I turn on my mpc, right? I'll just make a full beat then click save entire memory project to my folder and then when ill later play around on it, it cant find the samples.

I feel like when I reorganize the drum sounds into different folders when I plug in my mpc to my computer, and then try to retrieve the beat, its like it cant find where it got the sounds from on the mpc

There's a trick to erase all stock sounds and have a blank MPC500. I'm on my cel but search out a couple of pages back, I think it was call MPC tricks or something.
