Reviews and questions about the entry-level MPC500

Using the sample swap Upright posted a week or so back.

The sample play back in itunes and media player but when I tried to create a program in mpc maid (brilliant by the way) they don't playback. Also when loaded in the MPC there's no sound.

They are .wav files but could this be because of the sample rate they were recorded in?

Any help always welcome

a wav file 16 bit 44100hz must work on the mpc
check sample rate and resolution

good looking out

i'll check when at home.

another question off the back of that one. If it isn't as it should be, what can I do to rectify???

apologies if this should be common knowledge

A) use a computer program to convert the file, then put on MPC

b) re-sample the strings using the MPC itself

cheers guys. Big thank you to THX, have you used MPC maid??? If so would you still prefer to use the MPC editor? maybe I'll use this to convert to the correct sample rate and still use MPC maid to create programs.
