beat problem (newbie)

I record a beat but when i listen to the recording the beat is played in a different rhythm.Also i cant get the beat to be continious i mean there is a small pause before it is played again.What am i doing wrong .Really need your advice.

look up "quantize" and "timing correct" in the manual!

Assuming you have overcome your timing issues as advised by the others in this thread:

If you still have a pause at the end of your loop/ sequence, try reducing the tempo slightly until it goes.

Failing that look into the ADSR envelope, particularly the RELEASE time of your samples.

If there's a pause at the end he should actually increse the tempo of the sequence, or reduce the tempo (or the pitch if you feel like it) of the sample...
