Reviews and questions about the entry-level MPC500

Hey everyone..im new to MPC and just got a concern.

Ive recently been making some beats with samples. When I make the beat through my MPC500 the sound is balanced through the speakers. After I am finished with my sequences and track them out in SONG mode I upload them. After the upload, I check them out through PRO TOOLS 9 and what has happened is that when the beat shows up it is divided into two waves. The right speaker always plays the sample and the drum patterns. And the left speaker plays only the drum patterns. How can I make my songs into one wave instead of two? (Pic Below)

Also...when im recording my sequence I always have to change the Tempo so the recording comes out perfectly right. With that being said, what if my hook and verse are different tempo's? When mapping it out the song gets messed up because of the different tempos. Is the only way to bypass this by saving seperate sequences and mapping them out individually like the pic above?

Thanks.
Ps. I used the search button before posting this..couldnt find anything..

Two waves mean the sample is in stereo. If it was just one wave, then its in mono. Just switch the stereo waves into mono from your DAW or MPC and both speakers should be sounding right.

For your second question, I would recommend to record with Time Correct off.
