Reviews and questions about the entry-level MPC500

Hi guys, I have my mpc 500 since 8 months. I am having a problem since 1 month with my samples.
What I mean is, that when I am recording a song some samples are being turned down. For example I want 2 samples in the same moment and I can not use them, because one of them is being silenced by the other.

Lets say, You want to have a fat sample combined with your snare. Then when You record it, all You hear is like 1/5 of the sample and a Snare (normally).

Thanks for Your time, this is pissing me off.

PS. Where can I buy one of 4 rubber lynchpins underneath of my MPC 500? there are 4 of these on the bottom, holding your mpc 500 in a right position.

love you guys, xx

Thats life bro. Some samples get turned down because they are not pretty enough or maybe they don't make enough money. Samples can be superficial to other samples when it comes to laying down with drums.

Best thing to do is read up on Mute Groups. That'll learn those samples.

MPC-Stuff is a great place.

yep great place, $20 for 4 miniscule tiny rubber pins is a bit overpriced, should cost no more than $5 total
