MIDI signal doesn't work right

Hi,

Just got a second hand MPC500, everything works perfect except from the MIDI I/O. Signal is not regular, starts and stops, made stuck notes, etc...

Have to say that i tried different midi cables, synths, etc...

Without this everything works perfect so i'm thinking it's a hardware problem related to the midi part. Any help please?

Bad news for me. The main PCB needs to be replaced, it's about 150€

Anything else on the Mpc works fine, so I think I'm gonna repair it.

Wow sorry to hear that man. How did you figure out it was the main board?

i take to a support center and they call me this afternoon...

i can buy another second hand mpc500 for 250€ but excepts midi everything works great in these one, pads, lcd, etc... so i think its worth repairing.
