MPC 500 CF Card Help

Hey guys, so I just bought a used MPC 500 yesterday, but I can't figure out how to load samples from the CF card. I put my samples on there in WAV format, but was not able to access it in any way from the MPC 500. In fact, I couldn't hook up the MPC to the computer to use the card so I formatted it through a memory card reader, then tried to use MPC Maid instead and put a program I made onto the card, yet the MPC 500 still won't let it show up when the card's in it. I press MODE/LOAD/PROGRAM and the only thing that shows up are the two presets it comes with, Sunny_Set and Top_Set.

Somebody please help me, I think I'm **** for spending over 200 dollars on this and it not working.

Also, if anyone can answer this, am I able to use my memory card reader as an external accessory to my MPC 500 in order to use samples or is that not possible?

somebody pleaasee help, I've been trying to find a solution for hours.

UPDATE: The pins are bent in the memory slot, what do I do now? I'm really saddened that somebody sold me something so broken.

You try to straighten the pins, very carefully, if possible.

Or, you buy a new card reader pcb...

Or, you return it to the seller for a refund, but hard to prove that you didn't do it when trying to get it to work

Thank you for replying, I'm getting this fixed soon so I can finally use this thing, I've been so hyped to get it.
