Hi all ,
So im pretty new to using mpcs having just bought an mpc500 a few months ago .. Im curious about using the midi track capabilities .. I also have an mmt8 that I like to use to do really dynamic beat changes on my es-1 , Im getting a new synth soon and would like to use the mpc as a "midi sequence recorder" similar to a mmt8 . No real question here just was wondering if many had done this .. one of the tricks i really like about the mmt8 is that you can set it to internal clock , record in a midi sequence at a much higher bpm and then when you switch back to external clock you can have really cool drum rool type effects .. anyone tried anything like this with the mpc ? Thanks -

Mpc was originally named MIDI PRODUCTION CENTER, yes it can do midi very well. Sequencing, it's one the best sequencers out there.
