MPC500 freezes on load or save

The problem with mpc 500. Memory expanded to 128mb, but not native AKAI. Compact Flash to 8Gb. OS 1.31. Periodically machine freeze when i loading samples, projects, programs (from CF Card) or when i want to save something. To solve the problem this way: taking out the flash card and insert back or reboot mpc. Sometimes several times necessary. What could be wrong?

Maybe ur cf card is going bad.. try a new cf card. Or save all your stuff from your cf card to your computer and reformat the cf card... Also try reseating you ram. Take it out and put it back in again.
