Hi all, I'm new to the site, I'm looking to get a MPC and I've been thinking of going towards the MPC500.
I want it to create drum sequences to go with songs of mine in a live setting.
Sorry if I come across as a bit stupid, dumbed down, but I guess I better describe what I want or need from the machine.
I'm wanting to make the drums to the track using the pads, and have it where I've got a sets worth of material, and then have the songs stored, so when I'm playing live, I can then just press a pad which will trigger one of the songs to play. So all drums will be made before the live show, and triggered by a pad, and ill be playing live with my guitar.
Is this possible to do so, and will I need external memory to have enough space for this, the set I play will be around 30/40 minutes long?
The sound I'm looking to go for with the drum sound, is a heavy blues rock sound, stuff like The Kills for example.
