Question about triggering sequences.

Hi,

I'm looking to buy an MPC500 but need to know one thing which I can't find the answer to, so hopefully can get it here.

As an example.

I have a sequence for VERSE and a sequence for CHORUS.
I want to trigger these instantly, so say halfway through the VERSE playing I want the song to jump to CHORUS.

From what I'm reading it seems that when you select NEXT SEQUENCE, it won't change until the current sequence reaches the very end point.

So is it possible to trigger sequences instantly?

you could sample your sequences onto pads, and set them up as a mute group.
