Saving Separate Projects

Hi everyone

I'm having a lot of trouble with my MPC 500 saving separate projects

What I'd like is to have the option to load up separate projects for each song of my set. The projects would contain multiple sequences for seperate parts of the song.

What's the process for this? I swear i had it working at one point but then one day when i saved a project "save entire mem" it overwrote all my other projects

So I'm clearly saving it wrong
Can someone tell me how they'd do this whole process?
An yeah I've read the manual but i didn't find it helpful...

IIRC, the MPC doesn't give you the option to rename your 'all programs and sequences' - file so if you're in the root of the memory card it'll overwrite stuff every time.

Whenever I start on a new project I choose save to autoload. When I'm ready to move on to another project I rename my old autoload-folder. It's a little bit clunky way of working but it's not too much of a hassle.

The simple solution is to save each project in it's own unique folder, then you have no chance of any file name clashes.
