Is it possible to quantize certain tracks and not others? Say snares and kicks for example, but leave hats and samples unquantized?

Thanks!!!

Yes. You can turn it off and on at your will. :D

Cool, how exactly? Just record what you want quantized with quantization on and what you don't with it off? Is that how it works?

Also, say you import a long sample and wanna chop it into say 3 different pieces, is it like a 2500 where you can extract your trim? Or can you copy samples inside the machine in trim mode?

I hope you understand what I'm talking about. Thanks!!!

I had to sell my 2500 and I need my MPC fix until the 5000 comes out 8)

You have the option to do both, extract or copy in trim mode. :D
