track mute problem! Anybody know?

Does anybody know how to mute a single track?
I cant mute a single track by itself.

I try using the track mute screen but all the tracks get muted when i mute track1 and nothing happens when i try muting the other tracks.

Im losing my freakin mind over here.

Are you shure thet you have your sounds in different tracks?

You may be right about that. I am probably recording all of my samples on one track. How do i record samples on different tracks?
Im a noob at the whole mpc thing.

change the track...
