This is kind of a re-post, but whatever. I made a bassline in Sequence 1 (new OS by the way 1.12), saved it - done. Then I tried to make Sequence 2, using only 2 pads in Bank B (each pad had a short vocal clip on it, no percussion at all) When I recorded them (sequence length and everything was already set to what I wanted it to be), I get 3 seconds of silence, then the second pad chimes in. When it goes back to 1.00.00, there is a kick drum when the loop starts again, and then I hear the same thing, just part of the second pad. If I try to make a sequence using only drums again in Sequence 2, they play back fine. Can you not use just 2 pads with vocal samples in a sequence? what might be the problem? I can't go any further with my song until I get it to work, and Akai said to just reset the MPC, but that didn't work either. Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks alot.

i get the same problem too, (i think) my sequence constists of drums bass and a guitar sample.

and when i push play, sometimes the first 3 bars wont recognize that i had the guitar sample on it, but when it loops back around everything sounds fine and the guitar loop is in the first 3 bars.

when i recrord my song, if this interferes with it, im gonna play the first part twice so that the second time it comes around, it will sound correct and then i will chop the first part of my intro off using Acid or sound forge.

hope that helps! i wasnt sure if it was exactly the same problem or not. and by the way im still using the old OS.

gona update after i finish my song.
