TIP: All notes off

I've read a few posts where people were asking about All Notes Off functionality. Anyway, I couldn't find it in the manual, but I did find that pressing SHIFT + STOP together does all notes off.

Hope this is helpful.

Still love my MPC500.

As Snerg says, pressing stop 3 times does the same, and that is in the manual. Chapter 1, Page 5.....

Akai MPC500 Operator's Manual wrote:29. [STOP] Button: This button stops playback and recording. Quickly pressing this button three times sneds an "all notes off" MIDI command and stops all sounds from playing back.

er, thanks for attempting to correct me lovesign, no offence, but if you look at my post, you'll see i was actually speaking/ referring to "om", not "Snerg".

Again, "om" - thank you, three button thing (as I read in the manual) was beginning to really irritate me. [SHIFT]+[STOP] suits me (and i suspect many others) way better.

If you come across any other time saving tips (no matter how small), please share.

I was just merely stating a fact seeing as two people had said that the manual didn't state how to perform "all notes off".
