bug when listening (in loading mode)

hi there,
when i listen to my bank (with the play button)
the mpc sometimes switch itself into recording mode..
strange..
same problem here ?

How do you listen to a bank with the play button? Please explain...

It has been happening since the first version of the Firmware, its been reported to Akai....

As for the other question...you can audition your samples when loading them simply by strolling to the sample in load mode and holding play for the duration of the sample...If you do it to quickly, it likes to start recording things...

I hate it when that happens. I do it alot if i dont load the whole folder, if I just want to load seperate samples from different folders...I tend to try and go too quickly through the samples and that equals me pressing the play button faster and faster..thus ending up recording . lol oh well.

This make the machine feel a litle cheap, i think!

i only had mine for a couple of weeks but yeah, mine did that too...

Ensure your OS is current, also, if you are clicking through the sounds quickly this will happen. I am not too sure why it does it.
