Saving Problems

Hi all,for first excuse my crappy english but im a latino azzhole!!!
I bought my mpc500 a month ago and i think it's a great (and small ) machine except for one thing:

it saves my work one time yes and one time NOT!!!!!!!!!!! i cannot understand when mpc500 will save my program/sequence/.all file and when it NOT...
and i think isn't a CF problem,it's a OS bug!!!

At the moment da only good method i found to be sure of saving my work it's to save the entire memory on a project file and reload it...
Do i am stupid or it is a common problem?!?!?

i think ALL have this problem 'cause it's a OS bug : the mpc500 sometimes dont overwrite the new data and YOU LOSE YOUR WORK! akai: FIX THAT S#IT

yo I didnt get a chance to read through all the replies so this might be answered for ya by now but....the mpc500 wont save your work unless you save BOTH the program and the sequence. What I mean by this is that if you have been just saving your sequence, it actually is saving your work....but when you load the sequence, it wont play back the midi info of that sequence , unless you save the corresponding PROGRAM as well ya feel me? In other words, by loading the sequence you save the mpc will know to play for example the fifth pad exactly where you played it, but it wont have an audio sample to link to your sequence unless you save the PROGRAM that you used to make the sequence. So.....if you loaded your sequence with a diff. program it would play back your sequence with that programs corresponding samples....however you gotta save the seq AND THE PROGRAM then it will work dog. saty up
