problems with extract function?

does anyone of you have same problem? it seems that every time i'm chopping long sample, mpc freezes totally on 10th or 11th time i extract. after pushing "do it" button i can't do anything, any button won't response. please try this out, so if many people have same problem it's easy to report to akai.

Wow, i have the same problem! This is weird. I would expect the hardware to be able of managing bigger files!

i don't think it's the hardware issue, because i can have way more/longer samples in my mpc without any problems.

I had a similar problem. I had a sample on each pad in Bank A, when I went to extract part of one of them (I assumed I would be able to put it somewhere in another unused Pad Bank), it said insufficient memory. This is on a brand-new 1GB CF Card, where the only samples are the ones I just put on it! I was able to sort of trick it and let me copy that sample or re-assign it somewhere else and then extract, or at this point, discard what I wanted. Anyone else had this problem?
