I Broke The Contrast Adjustment Screw!

I was turning the knob and the top snapped right off! How do I fix this? Who do I ask to fix this. I have a feeling Im screwed. I cant even see the lettering on the screen because the light is adjusted too low so i cant use my mpc 500 now. help please!

don't you have a garantee on your mpc500?
Just take it back to the store where you bought it

I dont have a warranty because i bought off some dude from craigslist. Everything was working fine until i started to doodle with adjust the contrast/adjustment knob and i accidentally broke it. Now i cant use the mpc because i cant see what im doing as far as menus go. I have a feeling i should just send to akai =( anybody else have this problem?
