PLAYING A DIFFERENT SOUND????

when i record and push a pad it records a diferent sound!!!! for example, i have a sample asigned to pad 6 but when i record and push pad 6 it records the sample on pad 5!!! but when it records the sound doesnt evan record all the way through!!!! does anyone know anything i can do so i can fix this problem????

It sounds like something is wrong with the unit. Better get it checked!

i had a similar (possibly the same) issue and nobody here or at akai could help resolve it. they told me to send back my system without even attempting to troubleshoot the problem.. i figured it out tho- when i made my programs using bluebox, there were midi conflicts on several pads (they were assigned the same midi #s). just be sure to choose the option "make pads chromatic" and you should be straight. lemme know if this helps
