Battery life

hi all of u,im new here to the forum.just bought myself a 500 a week ago.what do u think of the battery life?mine doesnt last more than 3 hours with the batteries,is it normal?and when its low i can hear buzzes, glitches, hiss and static noises its crazyyyy.

sounds like your mp is **** up man, that doesnt happen to mine, also to preserve battery life try and turn the backlight off unless you really need it.

i think mine lasts more than 4 hours for sure.

Mine seems to last more than that... and I'd love mine to get all funky once the batteries are dying...that would be great. I'll have to waste batteries to see...
