the beat goes round and wait!!

So im recording a hi hat 1,2,3,4,2,2,3,4 loop. and obviously im not a human metronome and im a drummer so im out of time. The loop i have just recorded is now not that tight infact its so wak its uselss. I havent got a metronome and im intending to play this out live so i dont want a metronome. How am i supposed to make beats without this neccesary function or am i missing the point. Please holla back with some feedback.

have you played with the Timing Correct yet? The metronome can be very annoying to me, so I only use it to count in when I record so I can time the start of my loop better.

couldnt you just quantize it?

Or am I misunderstanding you?
