HANDLING A 2 OR 4 BAR LOOP IN THE MPC 500

Hey to all that has a mpc 500... I have a quick question for all the expierenced users of the mpc 500... When using a 2 or 4 bar sample, do you guys chop it into lil pieces in a editor like Recyle or Soundforge.... Me my self i have 3 samplers... Mpc 2500, Mpc 500, and a Roland Mc-808... I Sync My Mpc's with my Mc-808... But for some reason when i sync the Mpc 500 and the Mc-808 Im having issues with bigger samples...


So Im Asking whats your technic for chopping 2 and 4 bar loops to go into the Mpc 500

i use only my mpc500. y would u use other equipment though? i dont understand that part

Because i use the Roland MC-808 as a sound module..... Its a sampler, but i like the built in sounds.... (I Tweek Them To Come Up With Different Stuff)
