Is there such a thing ?
I am not talking about no Blue Box.
Something solely made for the 500.

is there such a thing ?

And if not, can the blue box do everything that is needed?
thanks mucho.

There doesn't exist such a program yet, why do you not want to use bluebox? Its a fine piece of software!

i tried mpcpad and mpcMpgMaker both on macos
but i always get " unknow file type"
what's wrong?
is it my fault with the audio files (they worked on mpc1000) or these applications aren't ok for the mpc500?

thx

I'm new to this mpc business and don't know what the 'blue box' is - can someone enlighten me? Is this a means of controlling the mpc via the pc via midi or via usb (I thought the usb transfer was only for storage).

Cheers

Cheers

the bluebox webpage explains it all...

http://webpages.charter.net/dereese/gary/akai.html

and the USB port on the MPC is only for transferring data, as you already know.
