audacity problem

For my samples i record them onto my mpc via a turtable. i find it to tedius to chop them on the mpc its self so i record it on and then export it onto audacity. recently i have been getting an error message that says

"error while opening sound device. please check the output device settings and the project sample rate"

Has anyone else had this problem or know what i should do to fix it?

JUST CHOP YA SAMPLES IN AUDACITY THEN JUST TRANSFER EM TO UR EZTERNAL ZIP OR CARD READER...ITS EASIER THAN DOIN IT UR WAY !
