Reviews and questions about the entry-level MPC500

Hi,
This is probablly a no brainer, and maybe kind of funny, but can anyone tell me how to lower the volume of the MPC Click on the MPC500?

It is very loud (prob default volume) so I have to lower the main MPC volume when making a sequence causing me to have to beat the pads. My fingers are killing me, any help would really be great.
Thanks in advance!

It's been a while since I've had my 500 but I'm sad to say I don't think this is possible.....sorry.

Oh man, that sucks.
Oh well, I will prob end up laying something down to keep time, then make it louder from there. I hope to learn on the 500 and then get a bigger better MPC.

The 500 is a pain in the rear to learn on, correct?

If it's your first Mpc just stick with it....you'll do fine. Ask question here on the forums, you'll get a lot of help from fellow users :D

I am going slow with it. I am a bass player and am starting to learn sequences and did a song (kind) of using step edit like I used to with zoom drum machines. This should be fun.

I dont like hearing the metronome either. What I do is turn it off, then use note-repeat with a simple high hat and use that for reference.

you dont have to hit the pads lhard just because you turned the volume down...play with low volume while recording and then raise the volume for playback...velocity cant sensor more than a certain poitn anyways, and i dunno hwo your sensitivity is set but for me dropping a pen on a pad would be about full volume for that pad
