Reviews and questions about the entry-level MPC500
By MaDSoN Tue Oct 30, 2007 4:07 pm
I have been saving my file folders to both my MPC memory card and my External Hard Drive (just incase) but was unsure if by using the USB I could save both Program and Seq/Sounds to my External drive as well and be able to drop them back into the MPC to play.

Hope this isn't too confusing of a question. Anyone out there know if it is possible to do this? If so, this will eliminate the need to get future memory cards.

Thanks

Have you attempted it yet to see if it would work. Just test it and see wat da end results are. (back all stuff up jus in case though). It should work though cause I save alot of my ALL files on my computer but i have the MPC2000 so i use floppy disks instead. But the USB transfer should work.

Have you tried going to SAVE and then doing the SAVE ENTIRE MEMORY? If you dont have the mpc500 manual download it below.
