Sup Boys n Girls!

Yes i know... Again a topic about reason and mpc. Sorry about this, and if u think its annoying THEN DONT READ THIS!

I already watched every vid about this topic and i already read all the the topics posted in this forum but i still have this problem.

Let me start with giving you a list of my setup.

M audio keystation 49e
Terratec dmx 6fire 24/96
Akai Mpc 500
Reason 4.0
Cubase 3.0 sx
etc.

I want to use reason as a soundmodule.
Right now i have my keystation midi out connected with the mpc500 midi in.
And the mpc500 midi out connected with the terratec midi in.
Is this correct?

Can somebody help me with the settings in reason?
i know what to do with the midi channels i know that i have to select my midi interface in preference but i dont know what to select for the midi clock sync.
And the mpc settings are confusing me also, i know how to assign midi channels in the tracks. But what are the settings for midi/sync?
Pls help me!

Right now i only can trigger and record sounds from reason with the mpc pads, but if i want to trigger and record the reason sounds with my keyboard, the mpc doesnt recognise the midi notes. So i only can record the reason sounds if i play the pads. This is not what i want!

I hope that somebody is willing to help me.

Ps. I got another problem with tracking the mpc500 to cubase, but let me solve this reason problem first. But any suggestions about tracking the mpc to cubase are welcome!

Thanks in advance,

Try setting the M-Audio as Master and the MPC as Slave.

I cant set the keyboard as master but i have set the mpc as slave and it didnt work..

If i hook up the keystation to my mpc to play my mpc programs same result no midi input at all!

Is it the keystation? Or my mpc midi in input?

Someone else with the same problem?
