Does the 5000 come with a battery like a laptop

I have been reading but can not figure out if this unit comes with a battery for mobile work. I read the battry life is 4.5 hours with LCD on but AKia official product page makes no mention of the unit coming with a battery.

Does anyone know anything about this?

I think you are confusing the MPC5000 with the MPC500.
The 500 can be battery powered while the 5000 can not.
