BUG when moving between sequences live

Has anyone noticed that the MPC doesn't like you moving away from, then returning to, a sequence you have just recorded live (without hitting Stop then Start)?

Let me explain this better:
I start with 2 pre-recorded sequences, seq_01 and seq_02.

Time to start the first tune of the night in front of say 200 people, so:

I create a new sequence, seq_03, go and set up a track with a program, and lay down a simple beat. While this beat is playing, I hit 'sequence' and scroll to seq_01... it plays once the end of the current sequence, seq_03, is reached. Then I scroll to seq_02... and it plays immediately once seq_01 reaches its end. THEN, if I scroll BACK to seq_03, I get 1 'round' of silence - i.e. the default 2 bars. Then seq_03 starts playing.

This is a bug, surely?

I've also found that switching tracks while in record mode results in System Error after a while.

I try only to input pad or slider data in record mode, then stop recording and playback to prevent errors.

Copy that I also have this, but I don't think it's a bug. I suppose, it is the way that MPC's OS distinguishes between the existing sequences and the one that has just been recorded. Well, I may be wrong, but I don't think it's something akaipro should fix, since it doesn't affect the creative process.

Don't quite get the idea of starting up a new beat in front of the audience. Why not program everything and prepare a project that works smoothly before you play live? This way there's less probability that MPC will screw up your set. And anyway, I think MPC is less live oriented (unless you play right from pads, of course) than, say, a Korg Electribe ES or ESX sampling drum-machine, where you can do everything on the go.
