Trigger samples - slow load??

Hey! Just got my mpc 500 (128 ram) and I loaded up a big wav (40mb) to one of the pads, but when I hit the pad the sample/loop didn't start right away, it started after 8-10 sec. ?? It's loaded to the internal memory so it should start right away shouldn't it? Or does the wav size have somthing to do with this?

Might be the size of that wav homie. Thats a huge file! 40mb? I'll make a test 40mb .wav, try it out and report back!

Is the start of the sample trimmed properly?

There could be silence at the start of your sample...

^ no... it loops perfect in Reason!

Could you post the sample somewhere?

I tried this, but had no problems. PLease upload the loop, or another one with the same problem if you don't want to share.
