I have at one point or another owned all of resounds loop samplers - truly innovative products - not really designed for 'beat making' in the sense that people in here make beats.

I still have my soundbite pro xl - simple and superb,

These samplers are designed to capture loops from free running audio to compliment and augment a DJ set. Probably one of my favourite live tools....

And @ Eimer - I'm pleased to hear someone else say that the Roland SP 404 is rubbish, I thought it was just me!

Yeah man, I was looking the Resound samplers and they seemed like a dream compared to the stuff I had 10 years ago, like the Gemini samplers. The price seems right too. I can see how they'd be nice for DJ and live application.
