I NEEEEEEED SOME HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I just got my mpc 500 a week ago, i love it, its pretty cool. I have a slight problem though, ok peep it.. I will make a sequence right, then i will save it to the memory card. When i hook up the mpc to the computer and load my song, its in a seq. format and my computer wont reconize it. What am i doing wrong, am i saving it wrong or loading it wrong? I need help, thnks alot. peace.

save the seq as a midi file, read manual etc

I did save it as a midi file too, once i click it to open it it played like a kick drum then to other drums and that was it.. it wasnt what i did... AND yes i read the manual. So can u help u now?

I think what you ment 2 say, was "can you help me now".haha.j/p. But, i think your thinking that you make a beat on your MPC save it as the SEQ. file & drag & drop it into your DAW. Sounds cool ryte? not xactly. Your gonna have to do everything one by one. example= you have your drums laid down ryte? Ok. you have to put everything on seperate tracks of you want to edit them in your software. But anyware. You have everything on seperate tracks, so your gonna have to play your MPCs sequence wit everything muted except 4 that one track that you want 2 go into your software. (REASON, LOGIC, PRO TOOLS, GARAGEBAND etc....). Does that help a lil'?

I track my stuff into my DAW and export/save it as a .wav file. Then you'll be able to play it in programs (iTunes, WMP). Or track it into Audacity, which is FREE.
