WHATS UP I'M NEW AND NEED MAJOR HELP

I JUST GOT A USED MPC 500 IN EXCELLENT CONDITION.

I NEED TO KNOW THE BASIC SET UP AND RUN FUNCTIONS.

DO I HAVE TO ASSIGN SOUNDS TO THE DRUM PAD TO USE THEM.

WHAT AM I DOING WRONG

ANY HELP WILL BE GREATLY APPRECIATED :angry:

Put samples on the memory card? i dont know what your really askin'? I hate to say this, but do you have a MANUAL? I say go akaipro.com & get the manual for this BIG lil' beast

yO you better dive into the manual if that's really what you thought! Your at the 1st bottom of a "learning curve" The MPC is not user friendly until you get to that 2nd bottom of the curve.

Second, wow man, just wow. Major help just after turning it on.....?!?
