Playing sequences on computer

I am trying to play some sequences on my computer in itunes but when i play them they just make wierd noises and dont work. Do i need to convert them in some kind of program or do i just need a certain program to play them in. Please help this is the first time i have tryed to play sequences on my computer and i use a card reader not a usb cable please help!!!

A sequence file is nothing but a .mid file , which is MIDI data.
It doesn't contain sound, just control data like note information, control change data, pitch weel data etc...

What you need to do is record the audio output of your mpc in to a recorder of some kind...
